Manhattan based Property Management company has an immediate opening for an experienced Handyman position.
REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strong support to Property Management at our multiple buildings throughout Uptown Manhattan.
- Complete all requested work orders, maintenance projects & repairs and follow-up on completion.
- Responsible for maintaining the upkeep of the entire building and its areas such as: sweeping and mopping floors, removing trash, cleaning lobby/hallway, wiping down doors/windows/mirrors, and clean snow or debris from front of building
- Assist in delivering construction materials, supplies and a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle.
- Ability to move items 50 lbs. or more (i.e. appliances, boxes of tiles etc.).
- Purchase requested items from Home Depot (or other stores) for delivery
- Maintenance of the company vehicle -making sure it’s clean and utmost condition & scheduling check-ups/oil changes when necessary.
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
Schedule: Monday-Friday ~ 9am-5pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience
