We attribute our success to the effective working partnerships we create with both clients and staff Your Responsibilities We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Maintenance Technician opening in Dorchester, MA. This person will be an important part of our team, who are responsible for the general maintenance of 390 units of residential housing. The work hours for this position are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm. Responsibilities will include ensuring that all service requests are completed in a timely manner, maintaining the mechanical, electrical, and the appearance of the facility. Performing building repairs and preparing vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements. Preserving the appearance of the building and the safety of the community through general upkeep and cleanliness, snow removal, and grounds maintenance. Your Qualifications The successful candidate will have basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and HVAC. We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy. Previous apartment maintenance experience is preferred. This position includes participation in the emergency on-call service rotation. A valid Driver’s License with access to a vehicle is required, and the ideal candidate will live within 25 minutes of Dorchester, MA. This position includes a sign-on bonus of $2,000!
