Bradford Shawsheen Coating Technologies, Inc. seeks a Foreman to join their team in Lowell, MA.  As Foreman, you will manage the day to day operations of the casting line as well as work to plan and set-up jobs per weekly production schedule to meet safety, quality, and production goals. RESPONSIBILITIES       *Safe operation of equipment according to company guidelines *Direct, coordinate, and monitor the activities of line operators *Follow established specifications and procedures to meet production schedule *Analyze and resolve problems *Recommend measures to improve productivity *Make adjustments as necessary on the production line to produce quality products *Setup, starting, and stopping production lines *Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process, and systems *Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system *Verify the implementation of solutions *Control further processing, delivery or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected *Keep the area, machines, and packaging area clean *Notify Maintenance personnel of mechanical and/or machinery issues *Other duties as assigned SCHEDULE: This is a full-time position working 4 am – 4 pm Monday – Thursday (40 hours regular pay and 8 hours OT pay). Must be able to work mandatory overtime Friday if scheduled. COMPENSATION BSCT puts great value in the Foreman role by offering a competitive wage based on knowledge and experience starting at $22 per hour (effective rate is $23.83 per hour for 48 hours of work over a 1 week period). QUALIFICATIONS *High school diploma or equivalent is preferred *5+ Years of web coating experience preferred *The ability to operate powered equipment *Must be detail-oriented, accurate and able to work independently *Leadership experience *Ability to stand for long periods of time *Ability to move and lift product up to 50 lbs. *Ability to visually inspect repeating materials *Excellent verbal and written communication skill *Ability to perform job functions utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions, and visual aids *Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment *On the job training provided APPLY ONLINE at bsct.hirescore.com No phone calls or walk-ins, please.
