I'm an artist/singer/frontman putting together a dance punk/no-wave/new wave/edm type band looking to recruit members. I already have a handful of songs written with the bass, drum, and vocals down, as I'll be singing. I have a lot of the visuals created along with plenty of video art footage to use for music videos. I have a logo, several band name ideas, some equipment, and a place to practice in the East Village 24/7 Influences include (in no particular order): ESG, Liquid Liquid, Grauzone, Black Marble, Spectrum, Hawkwind, Delta 5, Cleaners from Venus, Lizzy Mercier Descloux, Malaria!, Suicide, Spacemen 3, King Krule, Fat White Family, Blanck Mass, Preoccupations, Street Sects, SebastiAn, Ariel Pink, Desire, Peaches, Austra, Tropic of Cancer, Mac DeMarco, The KVB, Le Tigre, Crystal Castles, Pictureplane, Grimes, Billie Eilish, Wipers, Show Me The Body, Death Grips, CAN, Romeo Void, The Cramps, The Nerves, Kate Bush, Skinny Puppy, Ministry, Sonic Youth, Stooges, Roxy Music, Boy Harsher, Molchat Doma, VTSS, NIN, Exploding Hearts, Scientists, Ty Segall, Hunx and his Punx, Ssion, Motorhead, Mykki Blanco, Gary Glitter, New Order, Yeah Yeah Yeahs... I could go on forever. I'm also into tons of hip hop, not sure if it'll find it's way in our output but yeah. Hoping to start playing shows this fall, I have various connections to venues throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan. I'm looking for a bassist, guitarist, drummer, and maybe keyboardist/computer. I'm also looking to make the after party just as fun as the actual performances. I have several years of experience DJing and also singing in other punk bands. Thanks for reading.
