Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Technician Job Summary: Perform the duties necessary to maintain landscaped areas in a residential and/ or commercial environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate and maintain landscape equipment, such as mowers, trimmers and blowers, efficiently and safely. Remove debris and perform weed control. Communicate effectively and cooperate with supervisors, client, etc. Perform snow removal services at multiple locations, if applicable. Perform seasonal activities, such as mulching and winter assignments, efficiently and safely. Perform spring cleanups and fall cleanups include raking, edging, mulching, and pruning. Minimum Qualifications: Must be eighteen years of age or older Must be legally permitted to work in the United States and undergo background check Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation Must have or able to obtain DOT medical card Requirements: Solution-oriented when identifying hydraulic, mechanical and electrical system problems Strong light construction equipment maintenance skills Familiarity with inventory management Excellent skills and organizational skills Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to prioritize Ability to multi-task Ability to safely lift 80 lbs. minimum Ability to work independently Experience in equipment industry preferred Landscape/rental/construction background preferred Required Education & Experience: High School Diploma /GED or Tech School 0-2 years of experience using landscape maintenance equipment Job Type: Full-time Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 /hour We offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
