Huntington-Cabell Republican Women Host Ice Cream Social and Time, Talent & Treasure Auction On Tuesday, August 24th, at 5:30 pm the HCRW will host it’s Ice Cream Social at the 4H Camp at 6040 Booten Creek Road in Barboursville. This year will also feature a Time, Talent and Treasure Auction with both silent and live auction items. For this auction to be a success two things are important: 1.) Your contribution of one or more items of time, talent or treasure (and/or your help in soliciting donations); and 2.) Your attendance at the event to bid on the time, talents and treasures, as well as your promotion of this event. Be sure to invite your friends! We encourage participation / donations from all ages, youth included. Need some ideas? Here are some examples: • Homemade Desserts delivered weekly for a month • Custom made birthday cake • Mow your lawn while you’re on vacation • 2 hours of yard work • Pet walking • Baked goods, crafts, knitted goods, woodworks, artwork • Products or services donated by businesses • Cooking lessons • Gift Basket of Goodies • Weekend at a cabin • Family Portrait • Catered meal / hosted dinner / BBQ get together Any support your can provide would be greatly appreciated.
