Learn how to fix a flat in this class, which is a mix of discussion and hands on practice.
Everyone's had a flat bike tire at some point their life. In this class, you'll learn everything you need to know about tires, inner tubes, how to avoid getting a flat, and what do when you do get a flat. You'll leave the class feeling more confident, knowing that should you get a flat on the road, you'd be able to get going again without having to call a tow truck. Although designed as an introductory course, previous students reported finding the class valuable even thought they thought they already knew how to change out an inner tube.
Students are encouraged to bring their bikes to class but if you'd prefer to practice on a shop bike, we'll be more than happy to provide one at no additional cost.
We ask for a $25 donation per class but if you want to learn, we want you to attend regardless. Volunteers are invited to attend for free. And if you're not already a member, we invite you to visit our website and become a full fledged member today.
