Awesome Con- Washington DC's comic convention. Everyone is a fan of something. Nostalgic cars like K.I.T.T., sports, vintage movies, anime, and many more interests will be here at the Awesome Con. An all day event from 10am - 7pm. Go to www.aweome-con.com and purchase a ticket for Saturday August 21, 2021. (starting at $65) Pre-purchased tickets are strongly strongly encouraged. The Henderson Hall Single Marine Program will provide transportation from the Barracks to the convention center and back to the barracks. Awesome Con requires masks and social distancing when possible. COVID protocols are in effect. Enjoy the day with your fellow marines, geeks and nerds alike with a chance to see your favorite stars from across comics, movies, television, toys, games, and more!   The Single Marine Program is here to provide a home away from home for the Marines aboard Henderson Hall. We advocate for quality of life issues for the single Marines, as well as provide recreation and volunteer opportunities in the local community. All single and unaccompanied Marines, and service members, are welcome to participate in SMP events and trips.
