Position: Delivery Specialist A locally owned, award winning kitchen and bath design company, Direct Source has experienced tremendous sales growth since its establishment in 2008. Direct Source seeks a full-time (30+hours per week), hourly delivery specialist Primary Duties: • Receive and unload cabinet orders from delivery trucks and load onto Direct Source trucks and storage units. • Operate delivery truck and deliver orders to residential and business locations throughout the Flathead valley, and occasionally to locations beyond the Flathead valley. This may include driving to the Missoula area a couple times a week in a company owned vehicle/delivery truck, to assist with deliveries from our Missoula and Hamilton locations. • Accurately check in and account for every box and item that are received and delivered. • Other duties including, but not limited to: Rearranging cabinet orders awaiting delivery, delivery truck maintenance, showroom maintenance, trade show setup, and greeting customers. Attributes and Aptitude: • Willing to learn from and carefully follow direction from ownership/management. • Must possess a strong work ethic and be able to adapt to difficult situations and challenges. • Typical showroom hours are Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm. Must be flexible and able to work these hours and on limited occasions outside of these hours. • Must be willing and able to coordinate with and work well with others. Required Experience and Skills: • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. or more with assistance. This includes carrying these heavy items up and down stairs. • Must be willing and able to properly use a two-wheel hand truck. • Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, but not required), have a clean driving record, and be able to pass the DOT physical exam. • Read, comprehend, and write accurately, including the ability to read maps and find locations. • Have a working cell phone that can be used to communicate with Direct Source and their customers as required. • High School Diploma or GED Pay and Benefits: $15-17/hour depending on experience; paid holidays and overtime pay; flex time; sick and vacation leaves after successful six-month probationary period.
