Plan for “what’s next” by exploring Post-Secondary options at the Growing Grads College and Career Readiness Kickoff.
The City of Brighton Office of Youth Services will host the annual Growing Grads FAFSA Kickoff from 5:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15 at the Armory Performing Arts Center, 300 Strong Street.
The kickoff will allow high school juniors and seniors and their families to ‘get the green’ by checking out local scholarships, speaking with colleges and apprenticeship programs, and enjoy a complimentary dinner from a food truck. A financial presentation will begin at 6:30 PM (available in both English and Spanish).
The Growing Grads program is an annual series of evening workshops that provide parents and students local scholarship information and hands-on assistance completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. To learn more about FAFSA visit https://fafsa.ed.gov/
A more detailed schedule of the night will be posted soon. For questions about the program, please contact City of Brighton Youth Services Coordinator Rachel Nulle at 303-655-2119
