What is the true essence – the real meaning – of what we are trying to share through our writing? How can we write in our most authentic voice? We will begin with a prompt to inspire us to write for 20 minutes. We will then spend the duration of our time sharing our writing, either written during class or beforehand, and offering helpful feedback to each writer. Students will be able to write in any genre they prefer. Our prompts will follow the universal themes of writing from a true place with a strong personal voice. Attendance is not required for every session but is encouraged to help create stronger bonds and more thorough feedback.
