Do you have a 3/4 ton or larger 4 wheel drive truck ? (F250 or 2500). Basic mechanical abilities ? Want to make $35-$45 an hour all expenses paid ? Do you have or can get a fuel cell for refueling generators ? Job requires you to be on call with the right of refusal. We are looking for independent contractors looking for extra income. We understand that you may not always be available but you will have the opportunity once you are in our system and have completed all required Scenario #1 : You are home and get a call to pick up a generator from one of our yards and deliver it to the cell phone tower location, hook up, make sure everything is running properly, fill out and upload photos and info to the app. on your phone. Return home. (the clock starts when you leave home and stops when you return home). You may be asked to do refuels for the next several days and pick up and return the generator to yard when complete. This is our BAU (35hr) rate meaning this is non storm and you return home each day. You are paid for your hours and reimbursed for all fuel costs for truck and generators. Scenario#2: Storm hits and knocks out power in TN or surrounding States KY, Western NC. You are home and get a call (sometimes we deploy in advance of a storm if major outages are expected). You would report to a yard and wait for further instructions. You may be on standby for 1 or 2 days or you may be put straight to work. standby time is paid. You may be asked to deliver a generator several hours away, set up a generator, upload info etc, into the app. and return to the yard for further instructions. During storms you will be paid travel time, standby time, paid hotel and reimbursed for all fuel cost. You may be out 1-2 days or for a week or more working 12 - 20 hour days. This is our Storm rate.($45hr) You are paid for your hours and reimbursed all fuel costs for truck and generators. You will also receive additional $30 per day per diem. ***We have a training day in Nashville 8/20 8am-5pm where you can get all the training and answers to questions. You will need to pre-register. This class is not required but is highly recommended since hands on is always better than over the phone or online. We will work with you to make sure you are comfortable with all aspects of the job and help with the registration process if needed. I'm not someone that just sits in an office. I've been doing this job for several years and it's probably one of the best I've had. We need several more motivated people that can meet the requirements and work well on their own.
