We are a Portland based wine distributor looking for a second Bend driver to join our team. Driver will service Bend and surrounding areas. Light duty trucks (non CDL). Great benefits available. Sign on bonus. 4x10’s. Please send resume. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Checking email night before shift to see workload. Start times vary depending on workload(5-6am). Picking up van in Bend and doing a pre-trip safety inspection. Driving to Redmond to pick up the load. Safely loading product into van according to the order of the route. Delivering product to accounts efficiently within customer's receiving windows. Safely unloading product from truck and checking in with receivers according to invoice. Merchandising product according to the buyer’s needs, rotating vintages, working back stock. Checking in with customer and making sure that their needs were met. Passing on any customer concerns or delivery issues to rep or appropriate person in a timely manner. Obtaining customer signatures on all invoices and collecting payment when specified. Collecting any refused or returned product from accounts and sending back to the warehouse. Accounting for all payments and preparing all paperwork to turn in to the office. Cleaning out the vehicle at the end of each day and fueling up. REQUIREMENTS ARE Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. High school diploma or general education degree. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage and to draw and interpret graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Candidate should have no problem lifting 50 lbs. repeatedly, pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, use of hand trucks and pallet jacks, driving a light duty delivery van, long periods spent standing or sitting. *Ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent attendance record and elite customer service skills. Warehouse and driving experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate with good references. Must be comfortable driving in winter road conditions. Occasional trips over Mt.
