Executive Chef Brandon Highstone: Brandon Lee Highstone was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska and moved to the Rogue Valley in 2000 where he first began his culinary career. In 2008, he graduated top of class from the Medford Culinary Academy officially becoming Chef Highstone. Over the years he has worked for many notable restaurants in the valley and tried his hand at competitive cooking. Chef Highstone's culinary prowess earned him 3rd place in both the 2008 Southern Oregon Top Chef and in the Battle of the Bones competitions. His culinary style is both simplistic and artistic with fresh ingredients as the cornerstones to his dishes. His vision of cuisine is inspired from his wonderful experiences and flavors from traveling abroad and his unique Northwest flare. He believes that cooking should be fun and creative and is always looking for new ways and techniques to make delicious dishes for the hungry people. He currently is the Executive Chef at The Rogue Grape Wine Bar in Downtown Medford.
