NEW OPENING: LANDSCAPE CREW MEMBERS! 2+ years experience Preferred Valid Drivers License Bilingual IRRIGATION SUPERVISOR MAIN FUNCTION: IRRIGATION LICENSE REQUIRED • Install irrigation timers, piping and valves • Troubleshoot and repair irrigation pipe and fittings, sprinklers heads, Electrical components and central irrigation control computers • Perform general and seasonal system maintenance • System start-ups, evaluation, and winterization •Must be able to; Test irrigation systems for proper functioning of valves, timers and Record detailed inspections • Read diagrams and blueprints to layout and locate irrigation valves, timers and wiring • Locate, Excavate, and repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning equipment and ability to complete tasks with minimal impact to lawn or landscape • Responsible for the purchasing of repair parts, keeping accurate inventory • Keep work vehicle and equipment clean and organized • Critical thinking and problem solving skills • Effectively assess water efficiency quickly correct or any adjustments with over or under watering • Be proactive with diagnosing and repairing any irrigation issues • Complete daily paperwork as required by each job • Perform accurate and timely record keeping Competencies: • Communication Proficiency. • Customer/Client Focus. • TEAMWORK ORIENTED • Stress Management/Composure. • Possess and maintain a valid US Driver License. • Extensive knowledge in irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair. • Ability to interact professionally with all customers, employees, and those from external organizations, Maintain a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with customers. • BILINGUAL A PLUS (SPANISH AND ENGLISH) • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (HIGH TEMP SEASONS) • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. • Must be able to work in fast paced environment and meet deadlines. LANDSCAPE FOREMAN RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead one or more crews of 6 with respect • Friendly attitude toward clients • Manage and build exciting high-end residential projects • Daily and weekly planning • Properly filling out Materials ordering sheet and maintaining proper inventory • Decision making / Design interpretation • Identify potential problems and find creative solutions • Critical Thinking and Problem solving skills • Coordinate subcontractors • Driving crews to locations • Effective and clear communication to Office manager and crew. Qualifications: • Experienced in landscape construction, irrigation, and planting, installations • Knowledge of hardscape construction • Horticulture knowledge • Must be able to identify plants/trees Or proactive willingness to learn. • Ability to construct outdoor kitchens, fire pits, and water features (preferred but not recommended) • Commitment to the highest quality craftsmanship • Bilingual preferred (spanish and english) • ability to work in high temperatures •Dependable and Punctual • Valid US Drivers License • Must be able to work in fast paced environment and meet deadlines. NOT REQUIRED TO HAVE HORTICULTURE DEGREE/CERTIFCATION BUT DEFINITELY A PLUS!
