5th annual Black Breastfeeding Week Photoshoot August is Breastfeeding Awareness month with August 25-31 being Black Breastfeeding Week. Please join us for our 5th annual Black Breastfeeding Week Photoshoot at Klyde Warren Park. This event is free to all, and you will receive the digital files of the pictures. This event is open to all mothers who have weaned, have older children they have nursed, are still nursing, exclusively pumping, pregnant moms who are going to choose to nurse or for those individuals who support black mothers breastfeeding. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE BLACK TO PARTICIPATE. You will receive digital files of pictures taken and you will also have the option to take individual photos after our group photos. If you would like to order prints you can do so with our photographers. Our photographer this year will be DayStar Photography (https://www.daystarphoto.com/) We will meet on the East Lawn. (Number 4 on the map below) Parking is on the streets, the Dallas Museum of Art parking garage, or one of the surrounding parking lots. For our attire, we ask that you wear any combination of Army Fatigue, olive green, or cream. We also ask that your children dress in any of these colors as well. Black Breastfeeding Shirts are available for purchase at www.villagedouladfw.com After the Photoshoot feel free to stay and play at the park. There is a splash pad, playground, games, and food trucks! Seating is limited, feel free to bring a lawn chair.
