Description
Technically, he was my "half brother - in - law", but I have called him Dad since my own dad and mom died when I was six, and Robert was barely past 20. Robert and his girlfriend Stormi (my half-sister), the fire-haired young Matriarch, the great and future Mamo, took me in - took ALL of us in, despite hardship and poverty and so many future sorrows beginning in a rodent infested trailer park in industrial Houston.
Thirty -seven grandbabies later, two days ago, Robert died, suddenly and unexpectedly, of kidney failure. Also that day, seperately, Stormi's elderly father died in the hospital. Her husband of forty years and her father both died Tuesday night.
Please help me get to Houston for the funeral, for my sister that I still call Mom.
A train is leaving here tonight, Saturday, 8-7-2021. The ticket is almost $600. I'm a single, mostly homeless artist and musician, and I can't pay for the trip.
Please help me if you can.
My art is good. Here are a few photos of my work - Instagram and facebook serve as my portfolio @jamiewelchart. Any person who helps me I will automatically send you an original piece of charcoal art - or talk to me about commissioning some custom work, including tattoo and portraiture.
I have many skills and useful services that I can provide in return: simple but heavy manual labor, life-advice, jokes, historical tutoridge, political strategy, war - time counsel, and dating "what not to do" expertise are all at your disposal.
Please help. I'll answer every legit message.
Thank you.
