Manhattan Detention Complex to Bellevue Men's Shelter
AUGUST 19, 10AM-12PM! Join us for a Fair Chance for Housing Rally!
We are demanding the New York City Council Pass Intro #2047, the Fair Chance for Housing Act, THIS YEAR! NYC must stop housing discrimination against people with convictions!
Date: Thursday, August 19
Time: 10am at Manhattan Detention Complex; 11am at HRA Bellevue Men's Shelter
Where: We will start at Manhattan Detention Complex, then take the 6 train together to Bellevue Men's Shelter (arriving at 11am). We will hear from speakers at both locations - please join us for both or either. We will provide MetroCards to those who need it.
We will have signs, t-shirts, chants, and extra PPE (masks & hand sanitizer)! There is power in numbers - please turn out and bring your friends!!

We are working to end housing providers' use of conviction records to protect people from discrimination and ensure that housing is a human right.
