11th Annual SUAF-Dallas Chapter Founders' Golf Tournament The 11th Annual SUAF-Dallas Chapter Founders' Golf Tournament will return with a 9:00AM tee time on Friday, October 8th, 2021 at the Riverside Golf Club in Grand Prairie, TX. This golf tournament will allow us to continue to reward scholarships to North Texas students who attend Southern University. Entry fee is $95 per person/$380 per team. However if you register before September 1st, the cost is reduced. This will include your course fee, range, breakfast and lunch, giveaways and more! The SUAF-Dallas Chapter provided over $35K in scholarships during the 2020-2021 school year and we need your SUpport to continue providing assistance to our DFW students. Since its inception, the chapter has consistently engaged in fundraising opportunities to generate scholarship funds which assist students from North Texas who attend Southern University. The Dallas Chapter's mission is to support the Southern University Alumni Federation's goal to promote and enhance the Southern University System's status as a premier center for higher education. The Southern University System is the only Historically Black College and University (HBCU) system in the world. The Southern University System consist of 5 campuses across the state of Louisiana: Southern University and A&M College, Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center and the Southern University Law Center, all located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Additional campuses are Southern University located in Shreveport, Louisiana and Southern University located in New Orleans, Louisiana.
