Red fox and yellow 66I 489 85*52 Hi, I was driving around 3 AM towards Prunedale from Moss Landing and I nearly ran over a cat who was sitting in the middle of the lane! I pulled over and saw the cat was injured, it could not use back legs at all. I was able to get it out of the road. Sheriff was the first car on the scene (after me) and she told me that they would leave the cat until noon when animal control gets on their shift. I couldn't stand the idea of leaving it on the side of the road for the next who knows how many hours so I Dropped it off as a stray with my vet, the Monterey Peninsula Veterinary Emergency Clinic MPVESC at 20 Ragsdale Drive in Del Rey Oaks. The cat was alive when I dropped it off at 3:45 AM July 14, 2021 Wednesday Morning. The cat is black and white, Mostly Black. medium long hair with no collar. I found the cat in the middle of the road. Just past the Manzanita Park Entrance (heading towards San Miguel Canyon Road) on Castroville Blvd. Photo is where I found the cat.
