Plan Check Associate
Closets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems. We design, manufacture, and install custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall-beds, garage cabinetry and more.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to immediately fill the role of Plan Check Associate.
Job Responsibilities:
Review designs to ensure compliance with the company’s product offerings and installation limitations.
Work efficiently to resolve design questions.
Assemble an accurate cut list that identifies all parts and machining requirements for the design.
Complete the cut list package in defined timeframe.
Provide support to the Production and Installation Departments, as required.
Essential Job Functions:
Quality –Ensure that all items required by the design and expected by the customer have been included in the cut list.
Productivity – The Plan Check Associate is expected to produce a minimum of $40,000 in jobs per day after three-months of training. Thereafter, the Plan Check Associate is expected to continually seek methods for improving his/her daily output.
Responsiveness – The Plan Check Associate is expected to have a positive and proactive attitude towards meeting and surpassing the customers’ expectations. Plan Check’s primary customers are: Manufacturing, Installation, and the Customer.
Minimum Preferred Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Intermediate or above experience with Microsoft Excel.
Drafting or design experience preferred.
Manufacturing or installation experience preferred.
This position will start hourly with the opportunity to become salary. Full benefits are included.
