The Patriot Poker Run this year will again be a Fun Run - still benefiting Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation 18th Annual Patriot Fun Run - benefiting the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation.  Participants can come by car, motorcycle, or boat.  We start in Slidell at the Tammany Yacht Club, head over to The Blind Tiger for lunch (11am-1pm) then work our way down the intracoastal canal past the Seabrook Marina, continuing over to the old Pontchartrain Beach for some relaxing in the water and then ending at West End, Blue Crab, and JB's Fuel Dock.  This is a fundraiser where you have a day of fun and a chance of taking home some money at the end Here is the timeline Thursday - Sept 16 - 7pm - 8:30pm, shirt pickup at Tammany Yacht Club Friday - Sept 17 - 7pm - 8:30pm, shirt pickup at JB's Fuel Dock Saturday - Sept 18 - 10am-10:30am, Captains meeting at Tammany Yacht Club  then at 10:30am the fun begins Saturday - Sept 18 - 4pm Final Party begins at the New Orleans West End Restaurants - please spread out to social distance and patronize our sponsors All early registrants receive one t-shirts. Extra T-shirts available for $20.00 Early Registration - prior to Sept 1, 2021 - $25.00 Late Registration - after Sept 1, 2021 - $25.00 - does not include t-shirt This Year - we are looking for sponsors for Jacobs Canine VETiquette (in Slidell) to sponsor a service dog for a veteran - Bronze $25, Silver $50, Gold $100, Platinum $250 - 100% of this sponsorship will be donated to sponsor a service dog for our veterans FAQs   Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? DOES NOT APPLY THIS YEAR - Due to it being a poker run - in order to play you must be 21, however kids are welcome to come out on your boats and all the parties involved   What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? If you come by land - parking is available at all stops.  If you come by sea, all the stops have dock space.  Of course all are on a first come first serve basis; have not run out of room yet.   What can I bring into the event? No outside food or drinks brought into the stops. Please patronize our sponsors.   How can I contact the organizer with any questions? You can email - [email protected]   What's the refund policy? This is a rain or shine event, sorry no refunds.  You can transfer your hand to another person to play your hand Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? DOES NOT APPLY THIS YEAR - You will receive wristbands at the signup events which you will have to wear in order to enter the lunch event and the final party.  If you have more than 2 people on your boat you can purchase additional hands or additional wristbands.  Additional wristbands are available for $20.00 limit of 2 additional per registered hand.   WRISTBANDS MUST BE WORN BY ALL PARTICIPANTS AT THE LUNCH STOP AND FINAL PARTY - NO EXCEPTIONS - THIS IS A FUND RAISER   Can I update my registration information? DOES NOT APPLY THIS YEAR - You can assign another person to deal your hand at the final stop   Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? DOES NOT APPLY THIS YEAR - Each registrant is given two wristbands to attend the lunch stop and final party, names are not checked.
