Electrician and a HVAC guy wanted takeover a residential job. I just fired the GC for lack of production and just hired a plumber today. The duct is 98% hung. Running the copper lines, installing the furnace and installing the outside unit is left to be done. 50% of the electrical is done. The old General Contractor tied romex plastic wire into old, existing metal bx cable. Is this safe, and will it pass inspection. If yes, continue with that path. If not, and a full rewire is needed, that is on the table. I will pay for all of the material. I prefer for you to order/pick up the material and I will pay the invoice. Give me an hourly rate (or a flat fee) for your labor. Must be licensed in Baltimore MD and ready to start now. Many more jobs coming. I can send you a scope of work by email, if you need it.
