Facts: Approx 1 year old Dachshund/Shih Tzu/Australian Cattle Dog Spayed Up to date on all vaccines 40-42 lbs Bio: Tallulah is looking for a low traffic, rural home where her family is home most of the time and there are other dogs to play with. She is the sweetest, most loving dog at home. She does not appreciate strangers encroaching in her space and will bark about it, she would be a fantastic alert dog to let you know when someone is on your property. She cannot be in an apartment or town setting. Some dogs love grand adventure and to see new places, but Tallulah prefers to stay at home because new places and too many new people make her feel nervous. She loves other dogs and gets very excited to see new dogs. She must be in a home with other dogs. She is potty trained, crate trained, walks on lead, follows basic commands and has an exceedingly high desire to please. She is smart and fast. Tallulah's current family absolutely adores her, there is one middle school aged child in the home who she is fantastic with. Unfortunately, Tallulah does not like her family's lifestyle. Her family hikes, camps and socializes often in new places. Tallulah would prefer to stay home in her comfortable space but does not like to be left home alone without the other dog home. She has a natural desire to stay nearby and does not run off when not on lead. Her current family has put so much time, love, and money into her to help her be a successful dog and while it is difficult to accept she doesn't like their lifestyle, they know that the right home is out there.
