Farrow Ready Mix is seeking an experienced Concrete Batch Operator/Dispatcher to join our team. The Concrete Batch operator is responsible for monitoring of customer orders and trucking efficiency throughout each day. Dispatchers are responsible for timely delivery of concrete, and accurate record keeping. The Dispatcher must have good communication skills and possess proficient computers skills. Essential Responsibilities and Duties: • Responsible for on time deliveries • Monitoring of truck routes and travel times • Maintaining high driver efficiency and safety • Maintaining a safe, clean and productive work area • Ensure safety procedures are followed as well as ensuring compliance. Qualifications and Requirements: • Requires good communication skills - written, and verbal • 1 years experience in dispatch - Concrete experience is a plus • Knowledge of concrete batch plants and how they work • Ability to trouble shoot plant breakdowns and help with repairs • Ability to understand logistics, maps, and GPS systems • Ability to multitask Benefits: Health Insurance, Medical, Dental, Vision 401k Retirement Plan Paid Holidays / Paid Vacations / Paid Overtime Direct Deposit / Bi-Weekly Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
