List Lab’s mission is to “harness bacteria’s potential for a healthier world.” We are a premier contract development and manufacturing organization for bacterial derived products for early clinical trials including live biotherapeutic products derived from the rapidly growing microbiome field. We are looking for a Custodian(Janitor) who will be responsible for performing routine cleaning procedures and ensuring a clean, inviting and safe working environment throughout the List Labs facility. JOB DUTIES WILL INCLUDE: • Perform general custodial duties, including: o Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping of building o Removing trash and recycling o Cleaning, sanitizing and stocking restrooms o Dusting and cleaning common areas o Buffing, stripping and waxing floors o Cleaning walls and other surfaces o Cleaning windows and mirrors • Follow departmental standards and procedures for handling chemicals, equipment, hazardous waste, recycling and trash disposal • Provide support for events including setting up and taking down furniture and equipment QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE • High School degree or equivalent preferred • A minimum of 1 year of experience in janitorial work strongly preferred • Knowledge of janitorial practices and procedures, including sanitation REQUIREMENTS • Able to take and follow directions • Must be able to adhere to provided schedule but also have the ability to be flexible as needed • Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening • Must be able to effectively communicate in both verbal and written form • Must be able to acquire security background clearance from FBI and CDC
