I have a 20 Week old Rhode Island Red rooster and hen that I am wanting to rehome. The rehoming fee is $150. Since the hen is 20 weeks old, she will be laying eggs any day now. However, sometimes the hens have to be 22 or 24 weeks old to lay eggs, but you can expect eggs within the next month. Rhode Island Reds lay the light brown eggs you can find at the store. She is very sweet and doesn't mind being pet. The rooster is also very nice, because we have handled him since he was a chick. Although he has tried to show dominance over our hens by pecking them, I have never seen him attack a human. He is very nice for a rooster. This rooster and hen pair would be great for you to add to your flock if you are wanting some Rhode Island Red chicks and some beautiful brown eggs. Please email me if you are interested!
