Full time Helper / Part time Sandblaster

We are a locally owned business focused on providing local commercial and industrial customer’s quality paint/powder finishes to meet end customer needs. The helper/sandblaster we are seeking will be a critical support role before the powder coating/painting process. We service all types of local manufacturers and as a result we have work of all shapes and sizes, often requiring the use of a forklift and/or other material handling equipment to safely handle and move. Forklift experience is a plus. No experience necessary. If you are a hard worker, can use tools, and don’t mind getting dirty, you will be a great asset to our team. There is room to advance and learn everything we do as our company continues to grow. This is a full time position. Hours are 8 am – 5 pm. Must be flexible with reliable transportation. Overtime may be available. Responsibilities • Setting up parts to sand blast • Racking / Un-racking of finished parts • Cleaning of parts • Packaging • Ability to jump from task to task when needed • Prepping parts for the lead painters/powder coaters/sandblasters • Loading/unloading of trucks • Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications • Ability to operate a variety of power and hand tools and equipment • Strong communication and organization skills • Ability to speak English • Basic reading skills • Forklift experience • Able to lift and/or move up to 70 lbs. • Able to communicate and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere • Maintain schedule and tasks despite interruptions • Be able to take direct feedback on work performance and adjust as necessary Pay scale – Above Average
