MILWAUKEE, WI — The Bronzeville neighborhood will host an arts and culture celebration for seven days starting Saturday. The first event is the HaRUNbee 5K Walk/Run for Healthy Birth Outcomes at 7 a.m. The celebration will continue until Aug. 14. Bronzeville was the primary African American economic and social hub between the early 1900s and the 1960s, the city website said. The events posted are a mix of virtual and in-person events, according to the calendar. The following schedule highlights Bronzeville events for the weekend.
