Boat Goes Up In Flames Off Coast Of Falmouth

FALMOUTH, MA — A boat off the coast of Falmouth went up in flames Friday afternoon, according to fire officials. The boat caught fire around 2:30 p.m. in Megansett Harbor, about 500 yards from shore. Smoke and flames were visible from the beach. Coast Guard officials rescued two adults and two children on board the vessel. Falmouth police said no injuries were reported.
