Take a tour of the zoo while many of the animals are having breakfast! Cross paths with zookeepers and see what's on the animal's menu.
Let an experienced zoo guide lead you on a walk through an outdoor "zoo café", otherwise known as morning feeding time at the Alaska Zoo! Our "Early Bird Breakfast Tour" includes behind-the-scenes experiences and a peek at what's on the zoo breakfast menu. This is a very active time of day for the animals so be sure to register for this fun morning tour with your friends and family!
Tour information:
Thursday and Friday weekly through the end of August. Reserve by purchasing a ticket a minimum of 72 hours in advance here. 9am to 11am (2 hour tour) Non-Member: $75/person ages 3 and over (includes zoo entry)Member Fee: $50/person ages 3 and overA small service fee will be added to the ticket prices above.Maximum of 20 peopleWe will accept date transfer requests but no refunds will be given for ticket purchases.
The Alaska Zoo is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to promoting conservation of Arctic, sub-Arctic and like climate species through education, research and community enrichment. We opened our doors in 1969 and we are proud to celebrate over 50 years of service to the wildlife and people of Alaska. We are the only zoo in the Last Frontier of Alaska and we receive no city, state or federal funding. We rely on zoo sales and donations from supporters like you!
