Men On Scooters Sought In Upper Manhattan Robberies

NEW YORK, NY — Police are seeking the public's help identifying two men in connection with a series of robberies in Upper Manhattan. On July 31 just before midnight, two men on a scooter approached a 29-year-old male delivery worker who was riding a scooter at the intersection of West 122 Street and Broadway. According to police, the men pushed the victim off his scooter. The first person display a handgun and the two men took the victim's iPhone, valued at $950, and his blue scooter, valued at $1,850. No shots were fired and the victim was not injured, police said. Later that same night, two men on a scooter approached a 46-year-old man who was riding a Vespa scooter at the intersection of Hillside Avenue and Broadway. The two men pushed the victim off of his scooter and he ran away. No shots were fired and the victim was not injured, police said.
