Caroline Kennedy was named to the President's Honors List and the Dean's List at the University of Hartford. Isabel O'Connell was named to Hartford's Dean's List. Tufts University recently announced the Dean's List for the spring semester, including Beverly residents Malcolm Henderson, Sam Truong and Bryce Visnick. Hofstra University congratulates Beverly students Olivia DiPietro and Abbey-Lyn Muise for being named to the spring 2021 Dean's List for their outstanding academic achievement. Students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the semester to make the Dean's List. Bryant University said Beverly students Abby Murphy, Katheryn Cafferty, Luke Samperi, Jake Cooper, Shelby DeGrenier, Kimberly Way, Gabriel Humdy and Riley Shea made its Dean's List. Murphy also made the President's List with a 4.0 or better grade-point average in at least 12 semester hours of work. Samantha Lake graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with an AS in applied liberal arts. Some 4,000 degrees were conferred in the 2020-2021 academic year at all of RIT's campuses. Due to New York state COVID-19 occupancy restrictions, commencement was celebrated May 14-15 in smaller ceremonies by college and was live-streamed for graduates' families and friends. Robert Rowe, a Lasell University student, presented at the University's Spring Symposium research showcase "The Invention of Now." Rowe hosted a "Tiny Desk" concert. The Spring Connected Learning Symposium is one of two annual research symposia held at Lasell University. Student presentations provide scholarly insights into a variety of industry topics and showcase practical skills and career competencies across those industries.
