DARIEN, CT — An 80-year-old woman was found dead in the parking area of a Darien condominium complex after she was struck by her own vehicle late Thursday afternoon, according to police. In a news release, Police Capt. Robert Shreders said officers responded to the Middlesex Commons, in the area of Hall Lane, around 4:30 p.m. The woman was dead before officers arrived at the parking area, Shreders said. The woman's identity has not been released by police at this time. It is unclear if the car was occupied when it struck the woman. Patch has reached out to police for further information.
