Press release from the City of Hermosa Beach: 08/06/2021 8:30 AM The southbound lanes of Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) between Duncan St. and Longfellow St. will be closed during the weekend of August 21-22 for the delivery of a tower crane at the Skechers Development Project construction site at 2901 PCH. One of the northbound lanes of PCH will be temporarily converted for southbound travel. **Unfortunately, due to the size of the tower crane, it is not possible to reopen the southbound PCH lanes outside of construction work hours.** Minor travel delays along PCH in Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach. Electronic message boards, directional signage, and flaggers will be used to direct vehicles and pedestrians around the construction zone. Temporary sidewalk closure along west side of PCH with detours for people walking. No access to driveways along west side of PCH for duration of lane closure.
