CHICAGO, IL — If you do one thing this weekend, let it be a blast from the past. Visitors to the Waukegan Airport will have the opportunity to ride in a vintage 92-year-old Ford Tri-Motor propeller plane, the luxury airliner of its time. "The sound of the engines, the three of them, it's a harmony there. It's kind of like riding a Harley in the air —very powerful sounding," said one passenger right after cruising in the Tri-Motor. Those who have ridden the airliner describe the experience as "touching a piece of history." While it doesn't look like it's for the faint of heart, experts assured Patch the ride is smooth and low.
