HOOVER, AL — A new fitness franchise is opening in Hoover, but this one is special, in that it is geared toward kids. A Birmingham Business Journal report said KidStrong, a science-based child development training center, is opening in the Shops at Greystone this fall. The fitness center will offer kids ages walking to 11-years-old parent-focused classes taught by professional coaches, and will host classes, birthday parties, holiday and summer camps and child-friendly "happy hours" to give parents time for a night out.
