Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 08/04/2021 UPDATE:  The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition and later died as a result of his injuries. The case will be investigated as a homicide.    Preliminary information: On Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at around 10:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to 320 Fairburn Rd SW on a person shot call.  Upon arrival, officers located two males shot at the location.  Both males were transported to the hospital, with one being listed in critical condition.  There is no suspect information to provide at this time and Investigators with the Aggravated Assault Unit were notified and will be working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.  The investigation continues.   Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.
