We have a large, very busy independent shop in need of a motivated General Service Technician wanting to learn more and advance their career. Well equipped shop that offers a fun atmosphere, a very experienced Manager and Master Technicians to support you and help you grow. We have a great entry level program for people just starting in the industry or people working in a quick lube setting like a Quick Lube, Jiffy Lube or Valvoline. We have great people on staff to learn from. We believe in helping all our people learn, grow and advance. If you have a great attitude, a willingness to do what it takes to succeed, some automotive repair knowledge, ability and experience and want to gain more this is the place to work! We have worked very hard to build a high quality loyal customer base. Our shop is located in a good area and we recruit customers that want and can afford to take care of their vehicles. Responsibilities of the General Service Technician include: -Communicating directly with the Service Advisor regarding repairs needed and parts -Oil changes -Tire services -Performing complete vehicle inspections to identify any safety or reliability concerns. -Keeping shop work area in a clean and safe condition -Assisting other technicians when needed -Running for parts -Shuttle customers when needed Monticello Auto Service candidates will possess the following: -A high school diploma or GED -A valid driver's license and the ability to drive company and customer's vehicles -Completion of automotive courses in high school or at a technical school -Experience working in the automotive industry -The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing -The ability to work well independently (self-motivated) and as a team member with a team goal -The willingness and ability to readily respond to changing circumstances and expectations Immediate Openings Benefits: -Health Insurance -Paid Vacations, Sick Days, and Holidays -Discounts -Disability Insurance Available To apply please respond to this ad with your resume
