Need Drummer (Bartlesville area) © craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap Our great drummer just called me today and informed me he had to quit due to health issues, something that is not going to be short term, he needs time to get a grip on what is happening as well as deal with it....he has asked us to please find another drummer, this will be hard for us our guy was the guy that helped hold it down.....and we will miss him tremendously, so that being said we are looking for someone that will be able to fill his shoes....we do classic rock, southern rock, Texas/ West coast swing/ blues, but we put our spin on it so we are not just a cover band, if interested you need to have: Good equipment, good attitude, good transportation although we might be able to arrange a ride for you from one of our Tulsa guys that play in the band..vocals would be a plus, but not a deal breaker.....what you need to know.....you will not get paid to practice, if you are going to be part of this band you need to be part of this band and not playing with five other ones....we are like family, we either swim together or sink together.....everyone gets paid an equal share when we are booked....we are all professionals we all know our parts and expect the same from you. We have all been playing for years me since the early sixties, some of us have toured with known acts, we are easy going and function as a unit no big heads or attitudes, everyone has input.....We expect you to not be a druggie or a drunk....some medicinal stuff is acceptable we are looking to play more towards some of the festivals etc...we do not play country.....you need to know how to do a Texas shuffle a lot of the swing blues and blues use that beat......our goal is to keep the crowd dancing so a lot of our music is upbeat and as I said we put our own spin on it.....we have two guitar players, a bass player, and me the front man harmonica player vocalist.....if interested contact me on here our next scheduled practice will be Saturday the 14th from noon til three/three thirty pm we usually practice on Saturdays for approximately three to three and a half hours.....hope to hear from you soon if interested........Tank PS if you are coming from Wichita you can always ride with our bass player who lives there....
