Surface Engineering, an established asphalt maintenance company located on the east side of Cleveland, is seeking seal coating and CDL laborers for full-time and part-time positions. Experience in asphalt maintenance is preferred but we will consider candidates with other relevant experience. Must be reliable. CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities:
• Properly block off, clean, and prepare parking lots for crack seal, seal coat, patching, and striping projects.
• Includes the use of weed whacker, scraper, backpack or push blower, and/or wire broom to clean the surface prior to application of seal coat or crack seal material.
• Application of hot pour crack fill material utilizing a crack sealer melter.
• Application of seal coat utilizing brooms, squeegees and/or sprayers.
• Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on tools and machinery.
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
• Follow the direction of the foreman/supervisor as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site.
• Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
• Other duties may be assigned.
