Picks, packs and ships orders daily. Is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of shipments. Assists with shipping, receiving and inventory control. We offer medical, dental and vision plans. We have paid sick and vacation time. Job Duties/Responsibilities: • Fulfills orders daily per client instructions. • Packages outgoing materials in appropriate containers. Labels all cartons with description of contents, quantity, and any other information required by the client. • Notifies supervisor immediately of any discrepancies in order fulfillment and when quantity for any item drops below established minimum quantity. • Coordinates with mailing department for materials to be sent via mail. • Stores fulfillment materials in appropriate location for efficient handling. Maintains shipping work station in clean, neat, and safe condition. • Maintains accurate usage records for all fulfillment materials, including description, counts, dates, and shipping address. • Communicates with supervisor on all fulfillment issues. • Cross trains other fulfillment employees or temps to perform these duties. • Properly stores all materials and secures shipping area at end of each work day. • Assists in mailing department, when needed, as directed. • Performs other duties as requested. Job Requirements: Knowledge of production processes related to shipping and receiving, materials handling, related equipment and products, inventory control, packaging, and secure storage. Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Understands and practices good safety procedures. Able to work independently. Will be trained to use fork lift if not already certified. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma and/or Vocational/Technical training and/or equivalent experience.
