Express Employment is hiring several experienced Housekeepers for a local hotel in the Baton Rouge area. This is a physically demanding position that includes cleaning rooms on a production basis. The ideal Hotel Housekeeper is self-motivated, detail-orientated, and communicates effectively with guests, supervisors, and coworkers. 9 AM - 5 PM Work Schedule: Monday - Sunday *scheduled days off may vary week to week but MUST be available to work weekend shifts* Job Requirements: - Must be able to work with chemicals and push and pull room cart on a daily basis. - Must be flexible; able to work weekends and if needed for occasional work outside of normally scheduled hours. - Must be able to clean guest rooms to hotel standards - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds - Walk and stand for most of the shift, bending frequently and stooping Qualifications: - Previous experience in housekeeping or related work history (ex. janitorial, custodial, etc.) - Reliable transportation to and from work each day If you or someone you know is interested please apply by calling our office at (225) 926-5627 or by emailing your resume to [email protected].
