An educational opportunity for judges in the Southwest Ohio region on Ohio's Forensic Mental Health System Southwest Ohio Regional Judicial-Forensic Training Judges in the Southwest Ohio region are invited to participate in an educational opportunity hosted by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services(OhioMHAS), the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities(OACBHA), and the Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health (ADAMH) Boards(representing Clark, Greene, Madison, Montgomery and Preble Counties). The training will focus on Ohio’s Forensic Mental Health System and the use of Summit Behavioral Healthcare, the local state hospital for individuals involved with the criminal justice system. A presentation will be provided on Ohio’s Forensic MentalHealth System Legal Status, Senate Bill 2- Competency Restoration and Outpatient Restoration. Presenters will include OhioMHAS and Summit staff, ADAMH Board Directors and a local judge within the region. The training is free and will offer CLEs.
