Crystal City Connector Cleanup

Description

Volunteers will remove overgrown vegetation, remove mud from the trail and clean up some walls. Meet on the trail on the Crystal City Connector. It is located near the Crystal City Waterpark in Arlington. Volunteers will remove vegetation near the trail that is blocking sightlines, remove fallen limbs, removing mud from the trail and cleaning walls. Work will consist of: Using pruners to remove bushesUsing bow saws to remove small treesTrimming overhead branchesCarrying and stacking cut vegetationUsing a sprayer to clean wallsShoveling mud off the trailNo special skills are needed. We'll teach you how to help in just a few minutes. What to Bring: Work Gloves if you have them (We will have several to borrow)Pruners or limb loppers if you have them (We will have several to borrow)SunscreenWater to drinkWhat to Wear: Long sleeves and pants are recommended to protect you from scrapes and cuts and any potential contact with poison ivy. Getting there: Meet on the trail on the Crystal City Connector. It is located near the Crystal City Waterpark. From the waterpark walk down the path and through the white tunnel.
