Indian Head Senior Center and University of Maryland Extension are offering a rain barrel workshop The Charles County Government, Indian Head Senior Center and University of Maryland Extension Program are pleased to offer a workshop on the practical uses for rain barrels and how they reduce the impact of runoff on our local waterways and Chesapeake Bay.     DATE:      September 9, 2021    TIME:        10:00am PLACE:     Indian Head Senior Center, 100 Cornwallis Sq, Indian Head, MD 20640 Participants will have the opportunity to purchase a pre-assembled rain barrels and learn the technique for later installation at home to become eligible for a tax deduction.  Workshop is 45 minutes in length. Pre-registration Required - Space Limited  Registration closes:  September 6, 2021 SMALL PRINT: *Charles County Department of Public Works is providing a discount to county residents for participating in this program.
