Keynote speaker will be Pete Shimer, CEO, Deloitte. Pete is the Chief Operating Officer for Deloitte, responsible for leading all major operating activities -- including finance, information technology, and corporate development. Pete leads Deloitte's US Operating Committee, sits on the Global Operating Committee, and is a member of the US Executive Committee. Prior roles included Chief Financial Officer, Managing Partner of Deloitte's Seattle office, and Lead Client Service Partner for several global clients, including Amazon, NIKE, Starbucks, Nordstrom, and Costco. Pete continues to serve select large, global clients as an advisory partner. Outside of Deloitte, he serves on the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center Board, the University of Washington (UW) Foster School of Business Board of Advisors and the UW Foundation Board.
