Join the Philipstown community on September 4th, 2021 at 9:30 am for the first annual Hub 5K and Family Fun Run, a charity fundraiser to benefit the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝘀𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝘂𝗯, a nonprofit organization with the mission of providing local access to mental health and addiction resources.REGISTER HERE! https://runsignup.com/Race/NY/ColdSpring/Hub5kandFamilyFunRun 100% of proceeds will directly benefit the Philipstown Behavioral Health Hub. Bring your friends and family and spend the morning in beautiful Cold Spring for a great cause. This event will kick off the Village of Cold Spring Community Day which will include live music, food, drink, games, contests, kids inflatables, as well as a spectacular fireworks display! Race Details𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: Check-in/registration begins at 8:00 am to 9:25 am. The Hub 5K will begin at 9:30 am, followed by the Hub Family Fun Run at 10:30 am. 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Each event will begin and end at the Cold Spring Riverfront Bandstand (2 Main Street, Cold Spring, NY 10516). The 5K course takes place on the streets of the village of Cold Spring and Nelsonville. The Family Fun Run will follow a route along the two lower blocks of Cold Spring, covering a distance of approximately .3 miles. Each 5K registration includes entry to the Family Fun Run. 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀: The top three male and three female runners within the following age groups; under 18, 18-49, and 50+ will receive awards. 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: Free parking is available at the Metro-North Cold Spring Station. Sign up early by August 15th to guarantee a race shirt. If spaces are still available, walk-up registration for the 5K will be available the morning of the race. (The day of registration will not include a t-shirt.) We are looking forward to many members of the Philipstown community and beyond participating in this exciting event.
