Live music amongst redwoods Friday July 23rd 5-7pm 1 Pinnacle Path Berkeley CA Classical Revolution is pleased to announce our summer concert series at 1 Pinnacle Path in the Berkeley Hills. This lovely rustic private venue is situated outdoors amongst redwood trees with amphitheater style seating. Our third concert features jazz/funk band The Renaissance Rado Randriamamonjy guitar / vocals Charith Premawardhana electric viola Fabio Reis drums Blending a variety of styles and influences, The Renaissance is a collective of San Francisco musicians focused on bringing live music back to the city in the wake of the pandemic lockdowns. Starting in the Spring of 2020, Rado and Charith performed as a duo for Classical Revolution events in various Mission District parklet and patio venues, including Casements Bar, Liberties Bar, Atlas Cafe, Son's Addition, and the Mission Arts and Performance Project. Additional performance opportunities soon followed, at Ghirardelli Square, Vesuvio Cafe, and Union Square SF. The Renaissance started performing as a full band with drums, bass, and guest horns and singers at their Tuesday night residency at Casements Bar. Their music ranges from classic soul by Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye to jazz / funk standards to rock and roll classics. The entrance is on Pinnacle Path, which is part of the public Berkeley paths network, which is not wheelchair accessible. (several flights of stairs) Once on the property, there are 3 wheelchair spots available. The venue is private residential property.
