Join LO ABQ for an introduction to rock climbing with Stone Age Climbing Gym (Midtown)! Instruction, harnesses, and shoes will be provided! Bring your stretchy pants and climbing selves for a fun event at Stone Age Climbing Gym with Latino Outdoors ABQ! This event will have professional instructors to give tips and tricks for indoor rock climbing. Don't have a harness or climbing shoes? No problem! Harnesses and climbing shoes will be provided and children are welcome to wear tennis shoes. Don't feel like climbing but want to watch? Please come! Spectators are welcome and need to register as well. When: September 12th, 2021 from 2:30-4:30 pm Where: Stone Age Climbing Gym Midtown (4130 Cutler Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110) About LO’s COVID-19 Guidelines After careful consideration and consultation with LO leaders about the resumption of in-person outings, we have implemented the following measures to allow us to safely gather in person while minimizing the risk of community spread: New policies and procedures: Group sizes are limited to 20 people, including LO Leaders and participants. Masks are required for all non-vaccinated participates, except when eating or drinking, which must be done while maintaining social distance. Anyone who feels sick or has been exposed to someone with COVID-19 should stay home. In the case that someone begins displaying symptoms during an outing, they will be escorted back to their vehicle to go home and rest or separated from others until they can go home. As the pandemic evolves, so will our approach to keeping you safe. We thank you for your patience and flexibility as we manage this, and invite you to check in with us if you have any questions. What you can expect from LO To be given accurate and truthful information about LO outings in the context of COVID-19 Enforcement of LO’s COVID-19 Guidelines, such as the implementation of face coverings Adherence to county level public health department guidelines What LO expects from participants We take safety at our community outings very seriously. We ask participants to self-certify that they do not have symptoms, have not been diagnosed with or had direct contact with a known or suspected COVID-19 case in the past 14 days, and will comply with LO’s safety policies and procedures including wearing face coverings, physical distancing, and other determined requirements. Together, we can ensure safe, positive, and meaningful experiences in nature.
